Nausicaa is fucking amazing (remember how much I love Kushana?), Sailor Moon is obvs, and I’ve been an Angelic Layer fan forEVER.
Of the rest of the list, Ooku and Princess Knight are on my reading list. And it’s probably a crime that I’ve not read Azumanga Diaoh (I keep meaning to buy the omnibus, but am too busy collecting 20th Century Boys, Wandering Son, and March Story).

I get it, comics journalists, I really do. But I’m going to continue to complain that these articles miss the core of the appeal that manga has. Or, at least when I read them, I wonder why the talk is always about Vampire Knight and Sailor Moon.
